Ultrasonic and vibration welding:
The vibration welding process vibrates one part relative to the
other part in a linear left-to-right motion. The friction between
two objects generates heat, which is used to weld the two parts
together. The ultrasonic welding process makes one part vibrate
perpendicular to the other part, and the vibration is very fast,
which will cause intermolecular friction and generate heat.
