Ultrasonic toolings also called ultrasonic horns, or ultrasonic
mold, which is used for ultrasonic welding, with an ultrasonic
generator, ultrasonic transducer, and ultrasonic flange called
ultrasonic set, which are used to the ultrasonic welding machines
for non woven fabric welding and plastic welding and so on.
A welding horn is a tool that effectively transmits ultrasonic
vibration to the plastic welding parts.
The ultrasonic welding horn/mold has the following functions:
transfer vibration energy, transfer pressure, transfer amplitude,
and provide a shape consistent with the shape of the product, and
as the plastic is malleable, it can adhere to the product to a
certain extent.
Great care must be taken in the design and manufacture of welding
horns, as only good welding horns guarantee good welding results.
